HARFUN STUDIO: YOUR DOORWAY TO CREATIVITY!

At the junction of the twin cities, lies a safe haven for creative individuals, Harfun Studio, an establishment coined by artists, who found it ironic that within the urban setup of the two cities not a single platform exists for artists to express and exalt their artistry. This brainchild of a bunch of misfits as they call themselves has grown into a cult of misfits to be, as they continue to learn, laugh, and create in togetherness with their doors open for the world to have a look in. 

A creative and social catalyst for people of all ages, cultures and ethnicities, who have their love for art in common. In contrast to the atmosphere of division prevailing within the society, we at Harfun thrive to promote inclusivity and rather focus on similarities. In a society of loud roaring ordinary within the term extraordinary, Harfun stand firms with a different motto of highlighting the extra, and celebrate one's distinctiveness through various art mediums. As many are oblivious to their own creative capacity, as these workshops not only bewilder the minds of the ones attending but the instructors as well. 

        

What We Stand For?

The studio stands tall to the joys of the fundamentals of life, visible in the architecture, similar to the directors, the studio too is self-made, as it was nothing but an ordinary structure, similar to what a rural house looks like, but these artists saw something special within these walls, and with ‘less is more’ mindset completely transformed it by their own hands. We thrive on a strong belief system that art lies within everyone, however only some get to embrace them, but with the right people and a little push, you can get a hold of it. 

And what’s the right way to do it? 

Attend workshops led by skilled artists, breaking the monotonous cycle of everyday routine, and adding colors to it of your choice, and be the painter of your own life. Here at Harfun the glass is always half full, and I guess at current times, we all need someone to remind us that no matter how many times we might find ourselves in a situation where the half empty glass takes a toll on us, there will be little things like, a nostalgic scent, a conversation with a stranger, Islamabad’s rain, the melting ice-lolly on a summer afternoon, shared silence around a bonfire on a winter’s evening, a sweet melody, a new skill, or the freedom to be and create, is worthwhile, and Harfun is the absolute destination for it.  A little  splash of  color  on  the  canvas  and  a  little more  on  the  structure is how the story began.
